QUT Masters Scholarship
QUT provides this scholarship to support domestic and international students to complete a Masters by Research within one year. Recipients of the QUT Masters Scholarship must complete their Masters before applying for admission to a PhD.
How much will I receive?
- $22,500, tax exempt (2010 rate, indexed annually)
- Payable for up to one year
- An additional allowance is available for thesis preparation. Domestic students may also be eligible for a relocation allowance
Am I eligible?
- New international and domestic students
- Masters by Research
- Minimum of honours 2A or equivalent
When can I apply?
- You can be considered for a QUT Masters Scholarship by applying at any time during the year.
- If you apply during the major scholarship round, you need to indicate that you wish to be considered for a scholarship.
- If you apply at another time of year, your proposed Faculty has to nominate you, so you should discuss your scholarship options with your supervisor.
- You must submit a timeline (DOC, 70KB) demonstrating how you will complete your Masters within one year.
