QUT is currently accepting applications for the annual scholarship round.

• If you are an outstanding graduate and aspiring researcher, we encourage you to apply for scholarships, including top-up scholarships for high achievers.
• If you are a current higher research degree student, find out more on the Research Students Centre website.

Closing dates

• International students: Thursday 30 September 2010, 5pm.
• Domestic students: Friday 15 October 2010, 5pm.

Scholarships available in this major round include living allowance scholarships:

• Australian Postgraduate Award
• Indigenous Postgraduate Award
• QUT Masters Scholarship
• QUT Postgraduate Research Award
• Owen J Wordsworth Scholarship
• Women's Re-Entry Scholarship

Tuition fee waiver scholarships are also available for international students:

QUT top-up scholarships are also awarded:

Vice-Chancellor's top-up scholarships

• Awarded to the top 10 ranked APA recipients.
• Valued at $10,000 per annum for up to three years.

Deputy Vice-Chancellor's top-up scholarships

• Awarded to the top 20 ranked APA recipients (excluding Vice-Chancellor's top-up recipients).
• Valued at $6,000 per annum for up to three years.

Faculty top-up scholarships

QUT faculties and research institutes may also award top-up scholarships to high achieving students depending on the research topics undertaken.
