Leadership and Complex Projects

Overview

This program involves a diverse group of researchers who investigate the leadership issues and challenges within complex projects and work environments. Researchers have strong industry links with the Defence force and the public sector with funding provided by an ARC grant and the Infrastructure Management Research Group (IMRG). Current projects include:

  • Factors that facilitate and inhibit leaders dealing with the challenges of complex projects and work environments

  • The leadership practices and behaviour to deal with complexity

  • The leadership development strategies to assist leaders to develop the necessary knowledge and skills to work with complexity
