Hierarchical Bayesian Models for Evaluating Emergency Plant Pest Surveillance

Project status: In progress

This project will assess hierarchical Bayesian models to evaluate surveillance systems. It will measure the effectiveness of early warning, area freedom and response surveillance. The project will determine the sensitivity of surveillance systems to detection sensitivity, risk area analysis and uncertain epidemiological characteristics of spread and growth.
