Overview
The human stomach eliminates almost 80% of pharmaceuticals ingested via the traditional methods of capsules, tablets and liquid medicines. The inefficiency of these methods has prompted scientist to look to alternative means of drug delivery. As such, Dr Islam has begun investigations in to pulmonary delivery technologies, improving their efficiency by modifying their particle size and shape to increase absorption, efficiency and penetration into the body.
