Touch screen noticeboard

We wish to research a simple touch screen noticeboard for remote and indigenous communities. This project will investigate existing systems, and select some open source software to trial on a screen. This project would suit a student interested in HCI, design and web technologies.

Research activities

  • Research existing touch screen noticeboards particularly for indigenous communities.
  • Select some open source software and deploy it on a large touch screen.
  • Write a short report/paper on early experiences with the screen.
