Investigating the protein expression patterns and cell populations in tibia of mice injected with prostate cancer cells.

Research activities

Sectioning of paraffin-embedded bone samples, histochemical staining (H&E, toluidene blue and Safranin O) and immunohistochemistry (for apoptosis, proliferation, specific cell identification, specific gene regulation) and slide mounting, light microscopy analysis and bone histomorphometry.

Expected outcomes

Proficiency in basic bone histology and immunohistochemistry techniques, including microscopic analysis. Standard operating procedure reports for immunohistochemitry protocols.
