The Smart Services CRC is conducting research into the description of "Services", which can be IT, or human-centric. The approach uses a metamodel, in the Eclipse EMF modelling framework, to define the metadata needed to describe services. There is a generic (superset) version of the metadata model, which is used to create smaller, more domain-specific versions of the model. The smaller models are then augmented with domain concepts, and these may need to be merged back into the main model. The project will involve using model differencing tools and model annotations to semi-automatically merge model augmentations back into the generic service metamodel in support of a methodology being developed in the CRC.

Experience preferred, on a scale from more fundamental to more specific: Object Orientation, Eclispe/Java, EMF or MOF or UML Class Modeling, Eclipse Plugins, EMF code generation, EMF model diffing and merging.
