We can observe through public sources - predominantly enforcement action by the regulator Australian Securities and Investment Commission, and by private litigation - that certain firms are 'sanctioned' for the non-compliant disclosure decisions made by boards. This project uses firms that have been sanctioned by regulatory action or private litigation for disclosure 'fraud' and, using empirical techniques, profiles the governance culture of the firms subject to such action.
