Overview

Topic status: We're looking for students to study this topic.

There are a number of opportunities for Honours students to work with field programmable gate arrays (FPGA) under the guidance of staff at QUT's High Performance Computing centre. The problems that you might want to address are negotiable, and can range from the implementation of computer vision/image processing algorithms to fixed precision mathematical operations.

This is a unique opportunity to learn more about the capabilities of FPGAs and their future role in real-time computing. These projects suit students with programming and technology interests.
