Business Activity Monitoring involves capturing and presenting data from process execution logs in a meaningful and easy to understand manner to managers and administrators. Both time and cost analyses are effective means to identify the bottlenecks in the system and they can be used to analyse the performance of the system. In this research, we will make use of the logging capacity of the YAWL framework together with the analysis capacities of the Process Mining framework - ProM (http://www.processmining.org)to develop a sophisticated business Activity Monitoring component within the YAWL framework.
