Overview
Topic status: We're looking for students to study this topic.
E-learning has become a mainstream approach to learning and development however, it is often argued that technology is not appropriate to facilitate all types of development. As a result a preference for blended learning has emerged. This approach combines the benefits of technology with the more traditional forms of facilitation such as face-to-face learning opportunities. However, blended learning can take many forms and is yet to be fully explored. The student will be encouraged to explore the different types of blended approaches and how learning and development practitioners determine the most appropriate “blend” in differing learning situations.
