Topic status: We're looking for students to study this topic.
The specific subject of this Operations Research topic is negotiable, with the work to be done in association with the CRC-ORE-funded project on "Advanced Scheduling Methodologies for Ore Mining Industry" under the CRC-ORE for Optimising Resource Extraction, Resource Valuation Program.
This research project will provide excellent research training to the PhD student to investigate the scheduling theory, constraint programming, constructive algorithms and meta-heuristic optimisation algorithms for mine planning and scheduling problems. The project is attached to a scholarship for which eligibility criteria apply.
