Property and Environment

Overview

This is a multi disciplinary program working co-operatively with the Institute for Sustainable Resources particularly in matters of environmental law. The program includes researchers in areas of environmental law, particularly relating to the legal effects of climate change, water law and how the land administration systems may improve environmental sustainability.

The program also includes researchers in other property law issues in the context of reform and in property transactions specifically, land sales, commercial leasing and land mortgages.

The program encourages collaborations with external researchers and linkages through consulting with industry, government and the professions.
