Pharmacy
Overview
The discipline comprises two major programs, concerning:
- Cardiovascular Pharmacology
- Drug Delivery Systems
Research areas include characterising heart receptors (in particular Beta-Adreno Receptors), uncovering new knowledge to create more effective drugs in the treatment of chronic heart diseases; improving drug efficiencies through investigations into nasal delivery systems; and pharmacy communication and education.
