The QUT Creative Industries’ Kaleidoscope Graduate Showcase is celebrating the future of the creative industries with public exhibitions until November 30.
Graduates from across the Creative Industries Faculty's Schools of Creative Practice, Communication and Design will exhibit, perform and celebrate their work.
Highlights include:
Dance 17 (Oct 31-Nov 4) - dance graduation performance, Gardens Theatre
Another Way Up (Oct 31-Nov 4) - Visual Arts Honours Exhibition Showcase, QUT Creative Industries Precinct
QUT Writing Showcase (Nov 8) - readings by creative and professional writing graduating students, The Menagerie
On Sight (Nov 13-18) - Visual Arts Graduate Exhibition Showcase, QUT Creative Industries Precinct
4th Floor (Nov 22) - industrial design honours graduates showcase, QUT Creative Industries Precinct (which will include the interactive card game Age of Summoning, shown in the video below)
Studio6 (Nov 22) - fashion graduation collections showcase, QUT Creative Industries Precinct
Frock Paper Scissors 2017 (Nov 22) - magazine and website launch, QUT Creaive Industries Precinct
Disrupt (Nov 22) - final year Interactive and Visual Design students' showcase, QUT Creative Industries Precinct
QUT Design Festival Open House (Nov 23) - all-day event, QUT Creative Industries Precinct
Architecture Graduate Exhibition '17 (Nov 20-24), Gardens Point campus
Interior Design Exhibition (Nov 20-24), Gardens Point campus
Endslate (Dec 4) - a showcase of final year films by film and animation graduates, Event Cinemas (Myer Centre)
QUT's talented cohort of 2017 music graduates also staged their showcase on October 24, and fashion students and graduates ran the Bubblewrap pop-up store in James St at the end of October.
