Federal Environment and Energy Minister Josh Frydenberg was guest speaker at QUT’s Vice-Chancellor Forum yesterday.
Mr Frydenberg outlined to staff the priorities of his portfolio, and also took time to tour through the Gardens Point campus, visiting The Cube and the Australian Centre for Robotic Vision.
At the centre he learnt more about the COTSbot, proven to find and control the devastating Crown of Thorns Starfish, Harvey the capsicum picker, medical robotics for knee surgery, and social robot Pepper.
