During the Postgraduate and Research Showcase, QUT played host to a wide variety of activities across its Gardens Point (city) and Kelvin Grove campuses allowing prospective students to consult with academic staff about coursework and research pathways, attending course information seminars, free public lectures and research exhibitions.

Postgraduate coursework at QUT
QUT offers postgraduate coursework programs leading to graduate certificates, graduate diplomas, masters and professional doctorates. The mix of theory and practical experience in our leading-edge courses, ensures students are prepared for the real world - with fields of study that can relate directly to their existing career path or broaden their base of expertise.
Research pathways
QUT offers a range of different research programs including Honours, Masters, PhD or Professional Doctorate. If you have what it takes QUT’s real-world research training can give you the skills to advance your career and solve important problems facing our world today and into the future.
Research Scholarships
A wide range of research scholarships are available for 2008. Applications for research scholarships close on 30 September 2007(for international students) and 12 October 2007(for domestic students).
Career change
Postgraduate study can provide the opportunity for a new career. For many courses at QUT you don’t need a degree in a related discipline, or work experience in a related field.

Applications for 2008 Research Scholarships close on 30 September 2007 (for international students) and 12 October 2007 (for Domestic Students).
Coursework
The closing date for first semester course applications is 11 January 2008. Late applications may be accepted after this date with a non-refundable $50.00 late fee. Brisbane Graduate School of Business and Summer program units have different closing dates.
