Work placements and projects
Work integrated learning
Work integrated learning (WIL) subjects are designed to help you develop knowledge and skills in a real world context. Our units combine workplace activities with academic learning, assessment and support.
We offer a number of work integrated learning units, some of which involve placements or internships with legal practices, community legal organisations, government bodies and overseas organisations. You'll develop life-long learning skills and will be better placed for a smooth transition to the workforce.
Work placements are usually offered to students towards the end of their studies.
Internships and work placement
We offer internship and virtual work placement programs. One of our most popular programs is a three-week internship in South-East Asia, which allows you to make a real contribution to fighting hardship and legal inequity. You'll be able to help with the development of resources to improve the administration of justice.
This program evolved from the Virtual Placement Program, where you can work online with an overseas partner organisation to research and work on legal projects.
Interested in becoming a host organisation?
We seek to develop quality partnerships that benefit our students and host organisations.
