Step 8: Accept your offer

If your application is successful, we'll send you an offer letter and an acceptance of offer form.

If you receive a conditional offer you must meet the conditions, and show proof where required, when you accept your offer and return the form to us.

Read the Your Next Step booklet (PDF file, 809.22 KB) for information on:

  • accepting your offer
  • paying your fees
  • student visas.
There is no closing date to finalise your acceptance, although you must allow time for us to process your acceptance and send your electronic confirmation of enrolment (eCoE). You need your electronic confirmation of enrolment (eCoE) to apply for and receive your student visa from immigration, which can take up to three months in some countries.

I'm under 18 years old

If you're under 18 years old, we cannot issue your eCoE until you supply your under 18 guardianship form (PDF file, 105.98 KB), which will be sent with your offer letter. Your parent or guardian will also need to sign your acceptance of offer form.

Outstanding documents

Send any outstanding documents required to meet any conditions of your offer as soon as they are available. Ensure that all the documents are certified.

Documents can be certified by:

  • an official QUT representative
  • a public notary
  • an authorised officer from the institution that issued the documents.
If your documents aren't in English, you'll need to supply a certified English translation.

Pay your fees

Your offer letter will outline the fees you need to pay when accepting your offer. Make sure that you read this information carefully so that you know exactly what you need to pay.

You must also pay for your Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC). Any payment you make will go towards your OSHC fees before paying for your tuition.

You must pay your fees by the due date on your tax invoice.
