About the school

The School of Clinical Sciences comprises four discipline areas in health:

  • Medical Radiation Sciences
  • Paramedic Science
  • Pharmacy
  • Podiatry.

Each discipline delivers courses that offer real world clinical experience taught by industry professionals. All of the disciplines have extensive collaborations with institutes and centres, government departments, industry and professional organisations, and universities around the world.

Our courses are designed in consultation with industry which is why our graduates are in high demand in Australia, with many being offered employment before they graduate. Through innovative curriculum, world-class campus facilities, and extensive real world experience we prepare well-rounded graduates who have an advanced theoretical understanding of their discipline and the skills to apply this knowledge to contemporary practice.

Our staff are real world professionals with extensive experience. Accredited by relevant accreditation bodies and actively involved in the industry, our lecturers offer students real examples and an insight into day-to-day experiences within the profession.

Our research seeks to improve clinical practice within each of the disciplines with the aim to improve health outcomes for communities. Through collaborative, applied research, we explore ways to improve technologies and create more effective methods for treating chronic health conditions.
