International double degrees

Earn two internationally accredited masters degrees in about the same time that it would normally take you to get one.

Our partnerships with prestigious overseas universities allow you the opportunity to combine study and travel, and gain a masters degree from another university along with your QUT degree.

QUT Business School currently has agreements with:

• Maastricht University School of Business and Economics in the Netherlands
• EDHEC Business School in France.

How does it work?

As part of your QUT degree you’ll spend time studying at a partner institution overseas. The period of time could be up to one year, depending on the degree and your background.

By studying at both institutions and cross-crediting your studies, you will meet the requirements of both degrees.

How much does it cost?

This depends on the degree chosen.

• Most programs will allow you to study at the partner institution on exchange, which means you continue to pay QUT tuition fees.
• Others may require you to pay their fees, but during that time you will not pay any QUT fees.

You will be required to pay for travel costs, living expenses, books and supplies, health insurance and personal insurance as required.

Course structures

If you are accepted into this program, we will customise your study plan depending on your prior studies and your chosen QUT business major. You will be required to complete specified QUT business study units and specified study units at the partner university.

How to apply

International double degree programs require a special application process in addition to the normal QUT application. You can apply before you commence your QUT degree.

You must:

• have an offer to study in the QUT Master of Business program;
• be nominated by QUT, then accepted by the partner university.

Eligibility

Entry to these programs is limited and competitive. There are specific eligibility requirements depending on which program you choose.
