The program features:
- guest presentations from inspiring industry, community and university leaders
- two-week modules focused on specific social and professional skills
- challenging interaction aimed at developing skills through new experiences
- certificate of completion for students to include in their resume or e-Portfolio.
Getting involved
As a student
You choose the modules that interest you and enter the program at any stage during your degree.
There is no cost - all Business Advantage seminars are free for our students.
Modules are usually held at Gardens Point campus. We try to schedule activities out of peak study times and cater for a variety of study modes, with some modules held on weekends. Class sizes vary between 15 - 50 participants.

We offer you several sponsored activities each year. Previous activities include Harvard Model United Nations, National Student Leadership Forum, and the Asia Pacific Cities Summit.
Competitions
Business case competitions involve students from leading business schools around the world competing to develop and present solutions to complex business problems.
QUT Business School is home to one of the most successful competition teams in the world. In 2011/12, our students won more international undergraduate competitions than any other university. This is an outstanding achievement and highlights the standard of education at QUT Business School and the calibre of our students.
We encourage you to put your skills and abilities to the test. You can get involved in competitions at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
Student associations
You can participate in QUT Business School's student associations to help build your networks, gain access to industry events and add to your university experience. Student associations are a great way to make friends and meet professionals from your study area.
