The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) is dedicated to providing vital health care to anyone travelling, working or living in Australia. The iconic RFDS's emergency retrieval service operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The RFDS also provides regular transfers of patients to interstate hospitals for life-saving surgery, and delivers a broad range of essential everyday health care to rural and remote communities.
Hummingbird House

Hummingbird House, the inaugural project of Queensland Kids, will be built as the only specialised 24/7 paediatric palliative care facility in Queensland. Hummingbird House will offer respite and hospice care for families with children affected by terminal illness. Australia has only two children’s hospices and none are in Queensland. Depression affects people of all ages, genders, cultures and socio-economic backgrounds. The White Cloud Foundation was created to increase support and service provision in Queensland by building treatment centres that provide day to day access for people living with depression and their families and carers. Redkite

Redkite is the only national organisation that provides support to children and young people and their families for the entire cancer journey. Redkite's real and practical support services include financial and educational assistance as well as support in hospitals through social workers and music therapists. Redkite also provides community-based support, including telephone and email counselling, and professionally-facilitated telegroups.
Coast Guard Redcliffe

The Redcliffe Coast Guard and her rescue vessels are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with professional volunteer mariners servicing Moreton Bay and its surrounds. When the storms roll in, and the winds start to howl, when fishermen and families are running for home, the Redcliffe Coast Guard will always head out to sea when called to rescue. We never say no.

Brisbane Youth Service

Brisbane Youth Service (BYS) is a community-based organisation that works with homeless or at-risk young people aged 12-25 years. Now in its 34th year of operation, BYS provides assistance to young people through the understanding of their circumstances and assisting them in making more positive choices. A comprehensive range of services is offered from meeting basic needs such as food and showers through to intensive personal support.
St Vincent de Paul Society (Queensland)

The St Vincent de Paul Society (Queensland) believes all children should be given the same chance at a bright and positive future, which starts with education. The Children's Education Fund, established in 1988, equips students from disadvantaged families with the tools to enable them to fully integrate into the school community on an equal basis with their peers.

Open Minds

Open Minds currently supports over 600 men and women throughout South East Queensland with mental illness, intellectual disability or acquired brain injury to live independently and maintain their wellbeing within the community. Open Minds offer lifestyle and residential support programs, planning and mentoring support and assist people to find and sustain suitable employment. Open Minds believes in an inclusive community and the right of people with disability to have the support and access to live a life of choice, fulfilment and contribution.

Second Chance Programme

Second Chance Programme (SCP) raises money for the hundreds of women in Brisbane who have been made homeless through domestic violence, illness and financial difficulties. SCP has been able to assist with housing more than 150 women in its few years of fundraising, however in today's economic climate we need all the help we can get to place women beyond homelessness.

Melanoma Patients Australia Inc

Formed two years ago, MPA is a support network for people with melanoma and their families and now has over 500 members. The organisation provides information on melanoma, its causes and incidence and offers a website, chatroom and public information evenings. MPA is raising funds to establish a part time telephone referral and advocacy service.
