The ACNC and the Not for Profit Reforms: What they mean for the sector.
The Australian Charity Law Association (ACLA), together with the Australian Centre for Philanthropy and Nonprofit (ACPNS), invites you to attend a half‐day seminar exploring the practical implications for the sector of the ongoing federal reforms.
The keynote speaker will be Murray Baird, ACNC Assistant Commissioner, speaking on what the sector can expect from the new regulator. A sector panel, including Peter Pearce (Anglican Diocese of Brisbane), Kate Tully (YWCA) and Mark Henley (QCOSS, TBC), will lead discussion with the Assistant Commissioner.
Following a break for refreshments, Paul Paxton‐Hall, Heather Watson, Alistair Macpherson and Nathan Rieck will present on current developments in the other areas of not‐for‐profit law undergoing changes.
Dr Matthew Turnour will chair the session.
