QUT Business School is the nation's first business school to earn all three symbols of excellence from the world's leading accrediting bodies. With only around 50 schools worldwide to hold this triple accreditation, it's an honour held by less than 1% of business schools globally. We first gained triple accreditation in 2005, and remain the only Australian business school to hold this triple approval rating.

Accreditation authorities

The international benchmarks of excellence come from the world's leading accreditation authorities: the Association of MBAs (AMBA), the European Foundation for Management Development (EQUIS) and the US-based Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, International (AACSB).

Accredited members are extensively assessed on their programs and student learning; the quality of their staff; their international engagement; and their ability to continually maintain and improve these high standards.

Our Accreditation history

The AMBA accreditation was awarded in 2003 for the quality and delivery of our MBA program through the QUT Graduate School of Business, and re-affirmed in 2008.

In 2004, the QUT Business School successfully attained EQUIS accreditation, which was re-affirmed in 2008. Five-year accreditation was awarded in 2011, following our 2010 international peer review.

AACSB conferred its accreditation in 2005; this was re-affirmed in 2011 following our second international review.
