Corporate environmental performance
Our organisational plans have progressed to enhance sustainable growth in research capacity and performance.
Buildings
Through holistic design and environmentally rated buildings, we aim to reduce environmental impact, running costs, and energy and water bills.
Energy
We have implemented projects to increase energy efficiency and to reduce maintenance of lighting, air conditioning, solar power, and computer labs.
Green Workspace
Green Workspace is a University-wide initiative which aims to create pleasant and functional work environments with a relatively low carbon footprint. Current programs include:

We continue to implement programs to further reduce water usage.
Transport
We offer on-campus and external transport services to our students and staff.
Waste Management
Our recycling program is prevalent and supported on all QUT campuses.
