Wound Healing Service

We are dedicated to improving quality of life for people in the community with chronic wounds. The service is operated by a Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse, Community Development Worker and a team of researchers.

Wounds may occur on any part of the body and some wounds take a long time to heal, or reoccur on a regular basis. The significant pain and immobility of chronic wounds can interfere with a person's quality of life.

Our clinic provides:

  • cost-effective and evidence-based wound treatments
  • interventions
  • strategies to help prevent wound recurrence
  • ongoing support
  • education to promote healthy living and wound improvement.

The wounds we treat include:
