Optometry Clinic

QUT Health Clinics - Optometry provides lens prescriptions and eye examinations, as well as specialist services including contact lenses, children's vision, and vision rehabilitation for visually impaired people.

Comprehensive eye examinations are conducted by School of Optometry students under the direct supervision of fully qualified Optometrists.

Cost

Optometry consultations are at no cost when provided by students under supervision.

Bulk billing is provided when patient is seen by a staff Optometrist.

Some specialist consultations may attract a separate fee.

A full and comprehensive dispensing service for spectacles, contact lenses and other optical aids is provided at competitive prices.

Patients who are holders of Pensioner Concession Cards or Health Care Cards can be assisted to obtain free spectacles through the Queensland Government's Medical Aids Subsidy Scheme (MASS) . The clinic can also assist patients who are eligible for optical services through the Department of Veterans' Affairs.
