Publishing
Scholarly Publishing
Professional desktop publishing services are available to the University's departments, faculties, students and the wider community.
To enable us to assist you in planning your publication, there are many aspects you need to examine before you contact us. Communication goals, audience, purpose, content, distribution and budget are just some of the considerations that will provide the foundation for an effective brief around which design and production aspects can be effectively discussed.
If the publication is intended as a marketing resource, it should be initiated by the Marketing/Communication officer in your organisational area.
To authorise the commencement of any publications work, please complete the request form and bring this to your initial meeting with us.
Cost
This service operates on a cost-recovery basis. Before proceeding on your project, we can provide cost estimates for design, production and job management (publications costs) based on your brief.
We are also able to provide firm pricing for printing and delivering finished jobs based on the most competitive supplier quotations sourced and covering any options required (e.g. multiple quantities or special finishes, etc.).
