Career Mentor Scheme

The Career Mentor Scheme matches you with an industry professional, to support your career development and help with your transition from study in to the workforce.

You can register to participate in the scheme through CareerHub. You'll need to provide details about your professional interests and course of study, so that we can match you with a mentor who has common interests and experience in similar areas.

We'll make every effort to match you with a suitable mentor, although this will depend on availability. We're continually recruiting mentors, so if we don't have an appropriate match for you at the time of registration, we'll continue to search for one for the second round of matching.

How long will it take

The more enthusiasm, the better! The time and commitment that you invest in the relationship with your mentor has the potential to pave the path to your future career.

Once you are matched with a mentor, you will become their mentee for the duration of the academic year (typically from April until November), however you are encouraged to continue the mentoring relationship beyond this time.
