QUT Healthstream Aquatic Centre, Fitness Club, Cycle Centre and Stadium meet your health and fitness needs with facilities at Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove.
Swimming pools
Gardens Point
With a 50 metre FINA-approved indoor pool, the Gardens Point Aquatic Centre offers recreational swimming, stroke correction and learn-to-swim classes, squad training, aqua aerobics and water polo. The Aquatic Centre at our Science and Engineering Centre at our Gardens Point campus is open to students, staff and the public.
Kelvin Grove
With a 25 metre, 8 lane indoor pool, the Kelvin Grove Aquatic Centre offers recreational swimming, learn-to-swim class, squad training and aqua aerobics.
Fitness Club
Gardens Point
The Gardens Point Fitness Club features an indoor running track, standard free and pin-loaded weights sections, cardio zone, functional training area and group fitness.
Kelvin Grove
The Kelvin Grove Fitness Club features standard free and pin-loaded weights section, cardio zone with treadmills, cross trainers, rowers and bikes, a functional training area, group fitness and personal training.
Cycle Centre
The Gardens Point Cycle Centre is a secure cycle hub featuring 213 two tier Josta Tier Racks, change rooms, individual lockers, laundry services, fresh towels and a service and repair centre.
Stadium
The Kelvin Grove indoor sports stadium is available for hire and features 50 seats and equipment for basketball, soccer and netball.
Membership and parking
Healthstream operate the pools, gyms, cycle and stadium facilities on both campuses.
Healthstream members receive free parking at Gardens Point campus (P Block) Monday to Friday between 5.30am and 8am.
