MEDIA HIGHLIGHTS

It may be January but retailing is still big news. QUT expert Associate Professor Gary Mortimer talked to media across the country on topics ranging from the Australian Open selling water bottled in China to department stores lacking niche knowledge.  We’ve also begun sharing expert media comments via Twitter, including Prof Mortimer’s views on Amazon Go launching in the US.

Dr Carol Richards was on the news (including the ABC) about food insecurity following her Conversation article, which also generated lots of conversation on Twitter.

And what’s it like to move countries? Dr Janice Rieger and her family (and QUT) have featured on House Hunters International after moving from Canada to take up a “dream job” with QUT’s School of Design. We hope you’re settling in well!
