Why give to QUT?

Change lives through education, research and community engagement.

Your gift directly benefits our students, our research, and the community. Whether you're helping fund major developments in health research, or providing the opportunity for a university education, giving to QUT means contributing to a better quality of life for you and your community.

History of giving to QUT

Philanthropy has a long history at QUT and its predecessor institutions. In the 1950s, staff at the Queensland Teachers' College at Kelvin Grove organised an early form of workplace giving, donating a tuppence each pay day to purchase works for what is now the QUT Art Collection.

These days fundraising provides up to $25 million each year for our research, facilities, student support and community engagement. The generosity of industry and individuals helped us establish and continues to develop our world class university.

Education is important to our future and together with your generous donation, we can create a better future.
