Help our students

QUT Learning Potential Fund

The QUT Learning Potential Fund is an investment in the community. It assists students who otherwise may not have the opportunity to attend university or finish their studies.

Our dream is to make a first-class university education available to all, regardless of their social background or financial situation.

The Law Founders Scholarship Endowment

We match every donation to this endowment, which offers a minimum of one year's free tuition to first year law students experiencing socio-economic disadvantage.

Remote Practicum Bursary Fund

Help student teachers take field experience in rural and remote Queensland.
Many students are unable to participate due to the cost of travelling to places like Birdsville and Thursday Island. A small bursary of $250 can make all the difference.

Establish a scholarship, prize or bursary

It's with the generosity of corporations, government, individuals and alumni that we currently offer around three hundred scholarships, bursaries, endowments and prizes.

Mutual benefits

Establishing a scholarship provides a mutually beneficial arrangement.

Your support gives our students a personal and professional advantage. It means that the recipient can focus on their studies and reach their full potential without added financial stress.

Corporations and government departments gain access to our pool of talented students for work experience, project work and employment, and get an increased public profile through marketing activities.

Individuals and alumni make a difference to the lives of students by supporting a scholarship or award in an area of personal interest. By helping a student to reach their full potential, you will have a direct impact in shaping their future.

Establishing a scholarship named after your family or company

A named scholarship provides a unique opportunity to decide on the name of the scholarship that you fund. Our donors often choose to name the scholarship after themselves, an organisation, a family member, or in memory of a loved one.

A Learning Potential Fund named scholarship, when matched dollar for dollar by QUT, funds one scholarship valued at $2500 in perpetuity.

Contributions of over $20,000 can be used to create more than one named scholarship, or a named endowment. Please contact our office to discuss these options further.
