Hi, my name is Mark Gregory and I’m studying Social Work at QUT.

Studying Social Work helps me be a better person and it gives me a career opportunity where I can help others with their goals and their dreams. The Social Work lecturers at QUT are absolutely amazing; their passion is real and infectious.

The great thing about Social Work is that there are so many different areas you can work in, whether you want to pursue a career in Child Protection, Youth Work, International Practice or Research, QUT will take you there. QUT also offers a double degree option which is pretty unique really, unless you specialise even further.

When I graduate I will already have 980 hours of practical experience and I will be an internationally recognised Social Worker. I’m currently employed as a Youth Worker and I absolutely love it. I want to get into research, policy analysis and development so I can advocate governments to get more resources for young people.

I love Social Work, in Social Work I have found myself. It is fantastic!
