My name is Danielle. I’m a MBA graduate from QUT and I’m the CEO of the Spicer’s Group.

Prior to doing the MBA at QUT I put a lot of emphasis on developing myself as a leader. But what I learned through the program and by reflecting during the MBA at QUT, was the gains that could be made by emphasising more on developing the people around me and  not just myself.

Armed with what I have learned in the QUT MBA program I have confidence to lead in complex business environments. In my role I spend time developing strategy and communicating a clear vision for the future for my team to follow. I spend time developing and empowering the leaders around me.

My career has advanced dramatically since doing the MBA at QUT and part of that is because of the confidence I have within myself and the understanding and clarity of what I want to do. What I am passionate about and how I can create value for the businesses I work in.

And it was with this clarity and passion that I approached the owners of the Spicer’s group and they were compelled to create this role for me, and I love my job.
