QUT, the International Business, it covers all the bases. Like, you want to touch on everything that International Business kind of involves. So although sometimes it's not so concentrated, it touches on all the bases and if you want to extend your major or really get in the depths of it, well that's where the details can lie.

If you come to study at QUT you'll get to mix with lectures who have worked in their professions, who are active researches in their professions and leading the research in some of those areas, as well as actively working with business to solve the types of problems that are around.

I think the useful things about the somewhat generalist nature of International Business and for Media Management majors was really that I could still go into whatever industry I wanted. I desperately wanted to work in the arts and could feed straight into that. I had other third year students with me who went to Macquarie Bank, or who went into marketing at TAB or who went straight into government. So there really was quite an open field for all of us graduates.

Business today is global, regardless of which way you look at it so it's, the student come to study with us to learn about how to understand business on a global scale, how to look at importing and exporting strategies, how to understand the international consumer, and also how to plan their products if they're going to launch them on an international scale.
