Lisa Kleinau - QUT

I'm in my first year of Management as QUT, I've just finished the first year and it was a great experience. I really enjoyed meeting lots of new people and I really enjoyed talking to the lecturers because they've come from the industry that I'm interested in working in and they've got real experience to make sure that the content we're learning, we can see how relevant it is to things and the assessment - it's very similar to things that you'll need to actually do once you're out in the workplace so you get a good understanding of the practical tasks that you'll have to do once you finish your degree.

Well I guess I find that the management degree is the fundamental base for business. It works well with a finance degree, economics degree or law degree; even a science degree. So you can't really go wrong.

I love the Gardens Point campus because you've got the gardens to go and relax in after you might have had a stressful lecture. There're plenty of options to sit around or go to the cafe with your friends. You're within walking distance of the city and it's just a really wonderful atmosphere. You hardly feel like you're at university at all.

Business Management degree that I did has shaped my career in ways that I never thought that it would. Working in the biggest state theatre company wasn't exactly what I expected when I signed up to do a Management degree but a Management degree can just take you anywhere you want to go.
