KAJSA RYLANDER: Hello my name is Kajsa and I'm from Sweden. I am studying a Bachelor of Business Marketing here at QUT.

So when I first came to QUT, I accessed a lot of the Careers and Employment services through the website. The first initial thing I did was one of the introductory sessions I went to with Careers and Employment and they gave us very good information on what the website was, the people I could see like the international careers counsellor and I thought that was very good because I was new to this country, new to the university, everything was so new and big. There were a lot of people and it was very daunting to come to the lectures. I thought it was good to get a start to get some help of just knowing what to do in this situation.

It's my final year of studies so I'm starting to think about more what I'm going to do with my career. So then I used careers hub, QUT Careers Hub and this I got to know about through the Careers and Employment workshop I went to. And Careers Hub is really good for students because all the employers, they put all the different kinds of jobs that they have. So when you're studying you can access experience for volunteer jobs, and you can also get part time jobs so you can earn some money while you're studying. As well as when you finish, when you're graduating, you can access all the graduate positions as well as the full time jobs. So it's a very wide way of searching and it's also very focussed so it covers a lot of areas. So I really recommend students to use that.
