In my PHD I'm looking at the strategy used by entrepreneurs when they trade their firm, what kind of strategy is better to use for depending on what type of industry they're in and what kind of newness they have within their firm.

There are a lot of scholarships available to bridge you through probably a lean time. In addition to that there are a lot of other opportunities in terms of support.

Yunieta Nainggolan

You have a great support from the university in terms of finances. Like the quality of the research goes beyond your imagination. And that is something which QUT has done for me.

Christophe Garonne

I had the opportunity to attend PhD seminars in Europe in the US and this is very important when you are in the academy when you are PhD students because you meet the best people in the world. And you had like dedicated course almost one to you because it's very small group of people like 15 or 20 and you know that the people you met there are among the best.

Kim McKenzie

You grow into a research community and environment that offers a lot of career pathways that do pay very well down the track but I think you find that most researchers are doing it for a passion, for the knowledge and a passion to contribute something back to our community.

Julienne Senyard - QUT

Just the opportunities that will come from it. Once I finish my PhD I'm on a world platform and I have all these job opportunities because I have decided to do my PhD here at QUT.
