Sample subject outline - Semester 2 2013
Note: Subject outlines often change before the semester begins. Below is a sample outline.
Rationale
Forms of project development vary considerably. At one extreme the client makes contact with an organisation to develop the design, implementation and operation of a product or service. At the other extreme, a contracting entity is expected to carry out the implementation of a project, based on criteria developed by a design team, to be handed over to another team responsible for the operational management of the project. An emphasis on innovation and new technology as well as creativity undergirds the unit. The ethical context of project development will also be explored.
