Rationale
In today's creative industries environment, effective management skills are much sought after and for the independent artist, an understanding of the principles of arts management is highly advantageous. This is an introductory unit developing skills and understanding in creative industries management and of the environment in which it operates. It provides the foundation for more advanced management studies in KTB211 Creative Industries Events and Festivals and other units in the Performance Events and Festivals Minor.
