ED90 - Research Pathway Option

Research Pathway Option - commences Year 3, semester 1

Students with a GPA of 5.5 or above may be invited to undertake the Research Pathway option in their third year of study.

This option is designed to meet the needs of students wishing to undertake research-based higher degree study in the course of their future career. The pathway is designed to develop research skills and a research-oriented, reflective approach to teaching.

To accomodate the 48 credit points in the Research Pathway, students will undertake two further research and dissertation units in Years 3 and 4 of the program in addition to discipline, professional and curriculum studies units timetabled for those semesters. Research Pathway students will not undertake any pathway electives.

PE and HEC students wishing to take this pathway will need to undertake an additional 48 cps of study and may need to extend their course by one semester.

EDB005 focuses on your transition into the teaching profession through a three day conference held during Orientation Week (Semester 2). Enrol in 6TP4 internal mode.
