Why study a bridging program?
Our bridging programs are available for students and the general community to help you meet the requirements for university study. We offer bridging programs in:
- physics
- chemistry
- mathematics.
Successfully completing a bridging program will give you the assumed knowledge in that area for our courses and meet the prerequisites for our Bachelor of Education. These programs may also meet assumed knowledge and prerequisites for other institutions.

Mathematics bridging program
Our mathematics bridging program will help you get a sound assumed knowledge of high school mathematics, in a relaxed classroom atmosphere.
Successfully completing the mathematics bridging program will give you the assumed knowledge in Mathematical Methods for QUT courses and meet the maths prerequisite for courses in education.
Chemistry bridging program
Our chemistry bridging program will help you get a sound assumed knowledge of chemistry and update your chemistry knowledge in a small class environment guided by teachers who are equipped to help you succeed.
Successfully completing the chemistry bridging program will give you the assumed knowledge in chemistry for QUT courses and meet the science prerequisite for courses in education.
Physics bridging program
Our physics bridging program will help you gain the necessary knowledge, skills and competence to enter tertiary study with a substantial science component.
Successfully completing the physics bridging program will give you the assumed knowledge in physics for QUT courses and meet the science prerequisite for courses in education.
