We offer executive education and professional development through QUTeX, flexible learning through QUT Online, and pathways into our undergraduate programs through QUT College.
QUT is well-known for our strong links to industry and government, and our inter-disciplinary teams create high-impact research in areas as diverse as climate change mitigation, digital media, materials science, and biomedical innovation.

Queensland Rugby Union partnership
QUT is a major partner of the Queensland Rugby Union (QRU), creating pathways for Queensland's Super Rugby Pacific and Super W players, and providing work-integrated learning opportunities for QUT students with the QRU at Ballymore.
The partnership will provide a shared commitment to empowering and providing pathways to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people; engaging with regional and rural Queensland; a dedication of the advancement of women in sport and more generally, in leadership in our community.
A smoke-free university
For the health and wellbeing of all our students, staff and visitors, we became a smoke-free university as of 1 July 2016.
